Skip the Dora the Explorer..get a Oral-B!

We changed over to electric toothbrushes a few years ago and never looked back.  One thing that really ticked me off in the beginning was finding a "small" enough toothbrush head for my daughter.  If you notice all those "kids" electric toothbrushes at Target..Walmart..etc., the headsize is just BIG.  The problem with this is that it's hard for the little ones to open their mouths to really get back there.

I understand if you're a bigger kid it's no problem..but for the littler ones..it's not fun.  The funny thing is my "adult" electric toothbrush has a very small, compact, toothbrush headsize..about the circumference of a dime..perfect for the little ones.  HULLO!  I ordered the exact same electric toothbrush for my kids on Amazon.  It's this one to be exact..the Oral-B Pro Health Precision Clean.

Also, it's much more sanitary to be able to replace the toothbrush heads..as you know the toothbrush heads on the kiddie brushes are not removeable (yeech!) and dealing with the ridiculously small screw for the battery compartment is a pain in the butt to remove right?  I doubt most parents don't even have a set of precision (those tiny ones that jewelers use) screwdrivers.

Avoid proprietary battery systems!  You want one that uses standard AA batteries or you can use rechargeable AA batteries (me).  You don't want to get one of those that uses it's own battery because if the battery wears out..guess what..time to get another unit.  Also, if the AA standard battery goes did while your on vacation, just pop in a fresh set..simple.
