What's your name?

I decided to change the name of this blog today.  "SoCal Family Fun Style" was just..eh..lame and boring.  For some crazy (really dumb) reason I thought I was the only dad blogging about family life in SoCal..it was an honest mistake as I really couldn't find anything, until NOW.

Like everybody, it's hard to come up with a catchy, yet easy name to remember, that encompasses our likes, personality, blah..blah..blah..all in a url..right?

I've gone by the monikers of "Maverick" (not kidding..I'm a fan of Top Gun..not kidding again), "Easy2Putt" and "Golf Nomad" (which I do go by on another blog..actually, you can Google it "Golf Nomad"..and voila!..that's me too..but from a golf perspective..).

I'm an avid golfer and photographer..but a much better golfer..but I was getting tired of the whole golfing persona..and I couldn't think of a quick name that would encompass golf and photography without sounding ridiculous, as I had about 3 minutes, as the wifey was going ballistic with breakfast getting cold on the table..although some of these family blog guys have some cool names:

Well, today, I'm "Fast Glass Dad" (not to be confused with..but I'm sure it will..F@t A$$ D@d)..why Fast Glass?  Fast glass refers to photographic lenses that have really wide apertures and can let a lot of light in so you can use these lenses in low light situations (without a flash) and can isolate your subject from the background to have a dramatic effect..that's a mouthful..but easy to say right?
