We decided to spruce it up this week and checked out a musical..for the kiddies..right? My wife stumbled upon the Broadway On Tour group that does numerous musicals at the Ebell Theatre in Santa Ana. It's an Orange County Youth Theatre "Children Bringing Theater to Children". But, these are not "kids"..they are absolutely professional and look to be their chosen path.
We got tickets for the "Princess and the Pea" adaptation which was fantastic. These "kids" know what they're doing. The can sing, dance and do the whole bit down to the last bit. I was amazed at the amount of talent bursting through each "kid". The "Princess and the Pea" ran about two hours with an intermission in between. The only food the sell, at least when we went, were juices and sodas and candy..but they were only $1 each.
The parking at the Ebell Theatre is plentiful and FREE.
