As a frugal family we are limited to what kind of panache furniture we can get..in a nutshell our house is furnished by IKEA. Our son is entering 2nd grade and we wanted to finally get him a nice table..one that he can grow with too.
After looking around all the place the answer was right underneath out nose. Our original IKEA dining table (NORDEN) is now used by me as my computer table. Who says you have to limit yourself by having to use a dining table just for "dining". I love my dining table..er..I mean computer table..now. The best thing is that it is WIDE which is a must for home computing..you need space for all those gadgets right?
Anyway, we decided to go the same right and get the INGO dining table for my son. Dining table as a desk?!? Absolutely, you get a "kid's desk" and guess what..you're buying a "table" next year. Kids need space, and the INGO is big enough for my son to do his homework on one side while keeping his pencils, paper, books all on top. Think of it as if you would rather work with a small monitor or a 22" wide screen monitor..it's the same principle..bigger is better. This one is $69 bucks right now..cheap..and it's all wood. We went to Lowe's and then bought some stain and sealant..take a look..gorgeous..think outside the box folks.
